How do I invite a candidate?

Invite a candidate who doesn’t have a profile in Pastor Search

If you need to consider a candidate who doesn’t have a profile within Pastor Search, you may invite that candidate to create a free (but limited) profile.

Once you have created a position search, click the name of that position in your Searches tab. (You could also click the small gray cog icon for that search and click Overview.)

Near the bottom of the page, you will see a section titled Invite a candidate.

Choose the button Invite a candidate.

Enter the candidate's email address. If the candidate needs to complete a MinistryMatch assessment, select that checkbox. Then choose the button Request Invitation. The candidate will then be emailed instructions on how to create a profile in Pastor Search.

The church will be invoiced for each MinistryMatch code requested. Contact: Placement@efca.org  to request a MinistryMatch code to be sent to your invited candidate. Please include the candidate's name and email address along with your church name and location in the request.
